What to Expect on Your Barbados East Coast Hiking Adventure

Your journey begins at Ragged Point, the easternmost tip of Barbados, where rugged cliffs rise above the Atlantic. From here, you’ll follow the dramatic coral coastline north to Bell Point, a vantage spot offering panoramic cliff-top views. Along the way, your expert guides share insights into what makes Barbados geologically, culturally, and historically unique.

Following the path once traveled by the Barbados Railway over a century ago, step back in time and discover its vital role in shaping the island’s development. You’ll pass through the striking Conset Cutting, a secluded coral limestone pass where the quiet is broken only by the rustle of countless hermit crabs scuttling across the trail.

The hike continues to Conset Bay, one of the last traditional fishing villages on the east coast. Stroll along the pier for a fresh perspective of the island and keep an eye out for sea turtles gliding gracefully through the turquoise waters.

After completing this 8 km (5-mile), 2.5-hour coastal hike, you’ll return to your starting point to celebrate with our famous and refreshing rum punches. A little nature, a little history, and 100% Barbados — all in one unforgettable hike.
